Welcome to Chart Expert. By downloading, installing, or using the Chart Expert app ("the app," "we," "our"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Not investment advice. Chart Expert provides AI generated chart analysis for educational purposes only. Buy, Sell, Hold, and other AI Plan suggestions are not investment advice, trading advice, or financial advice. They are guidance for further research only. All trading and investment decisions are made at your own risk. Thorough own analysis is essential. Liability is excluded for decisions you make based on the app.

1. Description of the Service

Chart Expert is a mobile application that provides:

Chart scanning and AI powered analysis for stocks, crypto, indices, commodities, and related markets
AI Plan output (such as Buy, Sell, or Hold suggestions) based on technical indicators, chart patterns, and market conditions shown in your chart
Insights such as trend, volatility, and related chart metrics
Ask Chart Expert: conversational assistance about your charts and analysis
Optional paid subscriptions or in app purchases, where offered through the Apple App Store

Features may use artificial intelligence (AI) to generate responses. AI outputs are for informational and educational purposes only and may not be accurate, complete, or timely.

2. Not Investment, Trading, or Financial Advice

Chart Expert does not provide investment advice, trading advice, financial advice, or brokerage services.

AI Plan suggestions (including Buy, Sell, or Hold labels) are generated from automated analysis of chart data you provide. They are suggestions for further research only, not recommendations to buy, sell, or hold any security or asset.
Insights, chat responses, and other content are general in nature and may not reflect current market conditions or your personal financial situation.
Past performance, patterns, or AI output do not guarantee future results.
You are solely responsible for your trading and investment decisions. Always conduct your own analysis and consult qualified financial, legal, or tax professionals before making financial decisions.

We are not responsible for any losses, damages, or decisions you make based on the app's content or AI generated output.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the app only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not:

Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Infringe the rights of others or upload content you do not have the right to use
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, other users' accounts, or third party services
Use the app to harass, abuse, or harm others or to distribute harmful or offensive content
Rely on the app as your sole basis for trading or investment decisions

We may suspend or terminate your access if we believe you have violated these terms.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of the chart images and other content you upload. By using the app, you grant us the rights necessary to process, store, and transmit that content to provide the service (for example to run chart analysis, AI Plan, chat, or related features and to use third party AI and hosting services as described in our Privacy Policy).

5. Subscriptions and Payments

If you purchase a subscription or other paid feature, billing is handled by Apple under its terms. Pricing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds are subject to the App Store's policies. We do not store your full payment card details.

6. Disclaimers

THE APP AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR FREE, SECURE, OR UNINTERRUPTED.

CHART ANALYSIS, AI PLAN SUGGESTIONS, INSIGHTS, CHAT RESPONSES, AND OTHER OUTPUT ARE FOR EDUCATIONAL AND INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THEY ARE NOT INVESTMENT ADVICE, TRADING ADVICE, OR FINANCIAL ADVICE. USE THE APP AT YOUR OWN RISK.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CHART EXPERT AND ITS CREATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR TRADING LOSSES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP OR RELIANCE ON ITS CONTENT, INCLUDING AI GENERATED OUTPUT. LIABILITY IS EXCLUDED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

8. Changes to the Service and Terms

We may change the app's features or these Terms at any time. We will post updated Terms at this URL and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the new Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the app.

9. General

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the app operator is based. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce any right does not waive that right.
